Watch. Learn. Take Action Now to Earn $5,000 Every 30 Days!

Let me ask you a question…

Do you like mashed potatoes? Would you like them better if you could get $5,000 a month every month with them?

No, this site is not about mashed potatoes. It’s about using mashups to create solid, steady income by selling products and services online.

So, what’s a mashup? Well, if you know about mashed potatoes you know that they contain potatoes and lots of ingredients that make up a delicious side dish. Mashed potatoes are essentially food mashups.

The type of mashups I’m talking about in this case involves ingredients like software (application programming interfaces), sales, and marketing concepts. In short, I’ll be making a journal of how I mix up “ingredients” used to create solid business models on the Internet to make money. You can watch, learn, and see that, while a bit complexed, it’s not all that difficult to make a legitimate full-time income with nothing but a personal computer, a broadband connection, common sense, an open mind, and a bit of imagination.

If you stick around and see enough success and learn from my blunders, you might even decide that you can do better and then… oh, who knows? You COULD go out and build your own online business empire.

OK, so some of you reading this right now remember me mentioning the Thirty Day Challenge to you at the end of July ‘07. Those of you who know me personally know that a lot was happening for me in 8/07 and you didn’t see a lot of me… mainly because I was busy being a contender in the Challenge.

Fact is, here it is September and you’re still not seeing a lot of me. This blog is one of the reasons why. The other reason is that I’m a natural born hermit.

You’ll be happy (and even surprised) to know that while participating in the Thirty Day Challenge the following things happened:

#1. I did indeed make at least one sale before 8/30/07,
#2. I set up two niche blogs both of which made it to the first page of Google and generated quite a bit of traffic. (More about those later.)
#3. I learned more useful techniques during those 30 days than I’d learned in the entire time since I started out online back in 1995.
#4. I’m here to tell you that you can make your own money online by mixing it up just like I’ll show you right here over the next few weeks.

Smile! The economy of your homeland loves you.

The Thirty Day Challenge of August 2007 is over. Long live the Thirty Day Challenge!

This is my first post, and I just wanted to say how great Dan and Ed are ;) , and that…

Yes!!! I did it. Perhaps I should design a t-shirt with a picture of Dan Raine’s pretty pink thong on it.

Check out this video of Dan Raine sporting the pink thong just because he fell a few hundred dollars short of his $15K Challenge goal:

I gotta tell you, it was indeed a challenge doing everything in the lessons while holding a part-time job and a slew of side jobs and social commitments. This was a good lesson in project management.

But YOU… you are in luck! If you’re one of the people I told about the Thirty Day Challenge (TDC) back in July 2007 (pre-season), then this blog will help you understand why August was so important to me. It will also help you understand why you didn’t see a lot of me back in August and why you’re seeing even less of me in September.

Over the next several posts I will share with you the high points of what I learned during the TDC. All of the pages are still up for the original Thirty Day Challenge as of this posting date — in fact, if you’d like, you can still register and even join in on the forum. A senior member, Mike Mendel, has made an abridged annotated version of the TDC on his blog for those of you who just want meat and potatoes — no gravy, no green beans, no mincemeat pie.

That’s all I’ve got to say for now. I’m not going to start showing and telling you what I learned on my summer vacation until the next post. This IS a blog, you know. Gotta keep these entries short — or at least try.

And if you’re reading this weeks, months, or years after I’ve started the posts, you’ll see that you don’t have to wait… just continue reading, and reading, and reading — bottom to top! You WILL get it and you WILL start to make money online IF you take action by taking steps either exactly like or similar to the ones I’ll be describing here.
